Ratings & Reviews
AIBasePro registered users can rate AI solution’s from 1 to 5. These individual votes are aggregated into a weighted average, resulting in a single AIBP score displayed on the AI solution’s page.
The AIBasePro weighted average may not always change upon receipt of each new rating, but instead may be updated later in the day.
This explains why you may not see any change in the overall rating after submitting your score.
Additionally, please note that the ratings on AI Solution preview cards on the Home/Explore page might not always match the latest AIBP Score, as it can take a moment for the preview cards to update during the day.
AIBasePro publishes weighted vote averages rather than raw data averages. The simplest way to explain it is that although we accept and consider all votes received by users, not all votes have the same impact (or ‘weight’) on the final rating.
When unusual voting activity is detected, a different weighting calculation may be applied in order to preserve the reliability of our system. To ensure our rating mechanism remains effective, we don’t disclose the exact method used to generate the rating.
Our Pro Insights
Our Pro Insight Team evaluates AI solutions based on four key areas: Performance and Accuracy, Case Suitability, Ease of Use, and Considerations for Data Privacy.
- Performance and Accuracy: In our testing, we compare the output quality, speed, and precision of different AI solutions. The key factors we focus on are accuracy rates and response times.
- Case Suitability: We evaluate if the AI specialises in your chosen use case or if it’s just one of many features. We compare the AI solution’s customisation options and advanced features in the chosen use case with other solutions. Lastly, we consider product updates—AI solutions that regularly add features related to your use case are more likely to be tailored specifically for it, rather than just an add-on.
- Ease of Use: We evaluate this through hands-on testing and user feedback. The main factors we assess are how intuitive and user-friendly the AI solution is.
- Data Privacy: We analyse access controls, compliance, data storage, and third-party sharing based on company privacy policies. While we note that many AI companies use user data to train their AI models, we also consider, to a limited extent, the ability of the AI company to limit this usage.
